Modmail

Replying to messages

Any normal messages sent to a modmail channel are not sent to the user, though they are saved to the transcript. This is useful for internal mod discussion.

To send a reply message to the user:

  • Use ??r <message> or ??reply <message> to send a message anonymously. Anonymous messages show your role (e.g. Games Mod, Moderator, Admin) but do not show your name. You can customize your display role with the ??role command
  • Use ??rr <message> or ??realreply <message> to send a non-anonymous reply (i.e. to show your name)

Snippets

Snippets are prewritten messages you can send with a shortcut

  • Use !!snippetname to send a snippet. This will always send anonymously (see above)
  • Use {{snippetname}} inside a reply to include a snippet with the rest of your reply (e.g. ??r Hey! {{snippetname}} bottom text)
    • You can combine this with ??rr to send a snippet with your name attached (e.g. ??rr {{snippetname}})
